Have you got any F1 warnings flashing on the dash?

I get this sometimes with my 05 model and have tried everything to find the cause with no joy. I turn on the ignition as normal, hear the fuel pump priming, press the starter and engine cranks over but won't fire. I then have an F1 warning on the dash.

What I have found fixes it is to turn off ignition, put the kill switch to off, turn the ignition back on and wait for the pump to prime, kill switch back on, press starter and fires first time.

Don't ask me what difference the kill switch should make, but it does! It does rather bother me as one day it's going to let me down and it's bound to be right at the worst moment.... so if this fix makes any difference to yours please let me know and together we will work it out! If it doesn't and yours is still dead.... good luck! Someone will be along in a minute to tell you to check the green plug.
