Well, the reg/rec was the wrong one, the box clearly states KAW z650 and the wires are the wrong colours, so thats on its way back to the shop and hopefully they'll manage to pick up the correct box off the shelf to send back to me. Im annoyed cos i paid extra postage to get it here quick, gggrrrrrrr!
After negotiations with the owner of the garage (my mums dancing friend) ive got the cost of repair to the car down to a total of £450, hes not charging labour
so have made the decision to pay for the repairs (courtesy of 'bank of mum', though i need to repay it
) and get one more year out of the car. By this time next year i should be back in employment and in a better financial position to get a more decent car than i could now. So thats it, crisis over, for now, and i get to keep my bike
