I've seen Sam's bike in the flesh and on the net and it is very nicely done - but I'm not forking out for a Rotrex charger.

The only reason I got thinking about supercharging was because I found an Eaton M45 charger in the workshop that I forgot I had and wondered whether it would feasable to use to make the SV angry....

It's too big - about 3x times larger than the Rotrex unit Sam used - and weighs about 8kg.

Besides, I'm guilty of getting carried away; I did say at the beginning of the build that I wasn't going to do anything to the engine until I'd made sure that the single disc up front could cope with what was being asked of it with a standard engine propelling the bike. No point getting more power if it means I'm going to be punching SV shaped holes in hedges....
