However, shortly after we set off from Machynlleth we went through Staylittle, a tiny village. I nearly freaked out when I spotted this from the road, as it was the main location for the first episode in series 3 of Hinterland / Y Gwll, the Welsh noir crime drama. I couldn't believe it:
