If it's any help I have an SP Engineering stainless GP silencer on my curvy, it's mounted in the standard position (off the passenger peg) but the sound with baffle in is really nice 'n' crisp, and with baffle out ... absolutely awesome! Really barks, especially when winding it up.
Check out their site, they've got plenty of styles to choose from. The problem of it fitting low will only be down to the angle of the link pipe and then getting creative with fabricating a suitable hanger. Can't be more helpful than that tbh but as said .... i can recommend the SP silencer.
