I am a very lucky person. And things happen for a reason...
As some may have read my post (sorry high jacking kellyjo's post “Shortest AR ever...bike dead “. ).
As I was TEC I would have left oil on the road for my follow riders getting to the AR and noticing the oil leak on the service station ( MY BACK WHEEL WAS COVERED IN OIL), i decided that my life would have been greatly reduced if I carry on riding it, decided to return the bike back to the dealers, now had I carried on I would have put all of you lot in danger………….ie how come everyone behind me is falling off ?. So maybe that’s why I did not make it to the AR………… Err when’s AR12 ?….

Tony that was a wise decission indeed. Sorry we've left you there at the service station. But as much as I've enjoyed the snake pass, where Keith took us, I think it could have been "a bit" dangerous for you or anyone behind you. Surely tho we'll soon all get on our rides and blast into the horizon. Hope the Trumpet gets sorted and your dealer pays up. Take care.

IIRC the AA man diagnosed it as a failure of the output shaft seal behind the sprocket.

sorry for the late reply................
triumph bulldog who did the 12,000 mile service for £520...forgot to notice the bloody oil leak !!!. i was told it was due to a long bolt on the engine casing. put some packing and extra washers and stoped the leak.. ta dah ....job done.
