Thumbs up keep yer bobbins clean

My SV650 S6 standard front brakes started to drag intermittently when stopping, so much as to give quite heavy vibration if going fast enough and I thought it meant replacement discs. Id started looking at the options when I saw a vid on youtube recommending cleaning the disc carrier bobbins. Apparently they can get jammed up with muck so the disc isnt free to move and centre itself correctly. Anyway I cleaned as instructed using a nut and bolt through the bobbins to rotate them while spraying with brake solvent and Im pleased to say its done the trick...

My bike spent over 5 days complete submerged in silt laden rainwater so I should have realised much sooner that dirty bobbins was a possible cause....
