Progressive is a great option. We've used them for a lot of our bikes.

try a couple of comparison sites and see which is best then go to them direct.
I am with ebike. Bennets seem to be cheap, but as you have got modifications i dont think they like those much? |

I found motorcycle direct to be the cheapest, I was 20 when i got insured last year and it was just over £400 fully comp on a K3 SV650s which aint to bad considering my age.

Bennetts wanted to charge me an extra £1000 for fitting a set of twin lamps... if you make the stupid mistake of going with them then don't tell them about any mods.
And to completely affirm my view about them being daft ar$eholes, the renewal price was £300 more than the years cover. Ended up going with carole nash this year, about £100 cheaper than last years, with all mods declared including gsxr suspension, full system etc etc.

Get a copy of MCN and ring around as many as you can. Each company does different deals for different riders at varying times. Get a good quote and you can use that to negotiate with the next and so on until you good a really good deal. I just bought a K8 SV650s and Insured it fully comp with zero no claims and no alarms etc for ? 235 that was with express but I wanted to pay in instalments and Hastings came out cheaper although they came in at ? 243 I also had quotes in excess of ?400
good luck |

Just to add guys some companies no offer to insure excess for a bit of cash, I paid ?30 extra and now should anything happen to my bike I don't have to the excess, when you think ?400 that will be more than a months rent (when I move) so I think it well worth the money. Its something I will carry on doing.
As for which one, shop around. |
