Unlucky mate, I have had that before when I first started being a mechanic, watched my mentor weld something, he told me I'd get arc eye but I didnt believe him, woke up that night feeling like my eyes were beign sandblasted, I can't remember how long it lasted but it seemed like hours. Sorry mate!

ArcEye is a nasty nasty thing. Worse if the welding was just out the corner as Im told. i have only had this experience once and as said above you will not do it again after this experience. Mind you I was ok the following day. If not then its hospital dude. A mate of mine had to wear an eye patch for days with his.
Hard lesson learned eh.

AH Wideboy my old friend. If you can still read this, wet tea bags will sooth the pain. Ones that have been used to make tea and left to go cold (hot ones wont help).
