Curvy top fairing: One piece or three?

Hi there,

Should the curvy SV have a one or a three piece top fairing? Or does it depend on the year?

Mine has a one piece, but it was crashed/repaired once upon a time so is a replacement. Could be a cheap copy. Looking round, other SV's have a one piece, but then I can only find bits of 3-piecers on eBay:



Are the 3 and 1 piecers interchangeable, do the mounting points line up?

They are 3 main pieces, the centre section as per you picture. Plus a left and right hand side.

I guess mine must have a cheapo copy then....hmmm, track spare!

Just to confirm MrMessy, he's right: there's three fairings. A center top, left, and right fairing.

I am guessing as you are based in the UK you have a skidmarx front fairing on your Curvy. It is identical to the OEM three piece in shape and uses about 85% of the OEM's mounting bolts/tabs.

That's the one - good point on the bolts, I'm going to need one if I'm switching back to a genuine one. Cheers!
