Default Anyone got instructions on how to fit a Scottoiler?

I have one on the bike, it doesn't work. I've never had one before so have no idea how to go about fault finding.

It's an underseat mount not behind the plate, I believe it's suction fed from one of the carb balancing hoses??. And THAT my friends is the extent of my knowledge on the matter (oh, and you put lube in the top too)

Couldn't be much easier really.

There's 3 pipes coming from the res.

#1: Breather hose, goes to thin air & the end should be higher than the res itself.
#2: Oil feed to chain/sprocket. Obvious.
#3: Suction feed from engine. On newer (v6 onwards I think) this is the black one at the opposite side of the res to the oil feed tube. Follow that to the carbs.

Chances are #3 is the culprit. Or there's air in #2.

Yes I have a set thanks very much

What do you mean it doesn't work? No oil at all? is the delivery tube full of oil? otherwise it needs priming.

Could be broken tho'?

Could be fubard BUT

The res is full, nowt is coming out at the chain end HOWEVER I'm pretty sure I can only see one tube connected the the unit itself.

Will get on t'interweb, print the destructions off and if the weather is crappy this weekend, I'll hand them to El Saxo and he can do it while I'm inside and warm....

WHOA...

Everytime Saxo is involved in ANYWAY with a bikes the gearbox stops working, batteries die, bike won't start, something snaps, the bike crashes or he sets fire to it...

I'll do it myself.
