Default Handle bar adjustments

Hi all,

Fairly new to SV650S, and finding the pressure on my hands is making them (not too, but enough) painful after about 30mins of riding ....

Tucking the elbows right in helps, so wondering if its possible (and acceptable) to make any changes to the bars position ??

Was thinking about if you could turn the bars out a little, or anything else that might help ??

Don't really want to spent money on a handlebar conversion kit .... would rather stick it out, and chose a different bike sometime next year..

TIA

Unbolt the Clutch and Front Brake lever and then rotate them around the bars so that you have a straight ilne from your elbow through your wrist to the end of your fingertips.

I did that on my SV and it made it much more comfortable, I did the same to my GSXR when I got it, never had achey wrists since...

Great, thanks ...... I know its a common old topic !!

I will try the levers trick ....

Ride faster ?? lol ...... Not easy from Sutton to Hampton Hill everyday .... bear reach 40mph except once one (admittedly decent) trek down the A3 !!
