Default stompgrips

another thread from me!.

fitted black stompgrips today .. !

no I dont ride fast knee down stylee - no I dont track day.

but the Gm scottish trip is in a few weeks so I reckon even just fer that trip its worth it to save some wrist and ball ache on the long journey and when mandy slams in my back I might be able to grip on.!

we shall see..

pop some pics up tomoz.. i not too keen on the finished look even though they are black.. but practicality over style on this subject.. plus I got my kriega tank converter on now too and I cut some of the bobbles away on the stomp to take the velcro to hold the kriega fastener and it looks a neat job

just lose that nice white decal styling on the tank on my avatar.. but hey

They're very good Quiffy. Expect some wear on your leathers over time.

must admit. it worked for me, stopped me squeezing the knee when I used to slide on the tank, now held firmly in place.

Cheers Mark.

I'm a big stomp grip fan. I do think though that people have a tendancy to 'hump' their tank after sticking them on i.e because they are there, people grip their tannk constantly which is where the wear in the leather comes from.

I only really use them under heavy braking or heavy accelaration.

YC says they've made a hell of a difference to riding two up. He has the clear ones though, scruffy is as scruffy does...am surprised he didn't get the black ones, must have cost more
