Default Paddock stands - twin/single swing arm?

Hello all,

I have bought some Paddock stands on the Internet. They have arrived in the post and they clearly state on the box 'for twin swing arm motorcycles' so the question is do i unbox them? or send them straight back?

Is my Curvy 'twin' or 'single' swing arm?.........oh and why we are here it might be useful to know what a swing arm is?!

Thanks again!

The curvy has a twin sided swing arm. Single sided swing arms are what are fitted to VFR Hondas and a lot of Triumphs

Simply put, the swing arm is the bit that connects the rear wheel to the rest of the bike. Both types of SV are twin sided (U shape, if you could imagine it from above) as standard, so you should be fine with the stands.

While I think about it, is it wrong that that daft kids song where the thigh bone connecting to the hip bones and so on jumped into my head while composing the reply?

Single sided paddock stand looks like this (as shown here with the smaller version of the RC30 Holdup put up).
