Mounting transponder on curvy

Hi there folks,

I was wondering if anyone could help me out and post a picture or description of where they have their transponder mounted on a curvy race bike.

I dont know if it is similar at all, but for my ZXR's we cable tie it round the fork leg at the top.
It seems to be the standard place people put them.

Yep, I placed a single wrap of duct tape around the fork stanchion at the chosen location in between the triple clamps. Then use a couple of cable ties to mount the plastic transponder mounting over the duct tape. This stops it sliding around.

Check for full steering movement after mounting.

If you don't have to remove it in as team racing any where really .for endurance racing we have them on the L.Hand top of the fairing with a pin fix for quick change over.

thanks for the tips guys, i was wondering where would be a good place so the transponder wasn't vunerable in a crash and that seems to be a good spot

Ive got mine round the right fork leg . Best place I think

we stick ours on the end of a retractable pole which slides out through the front fairing in case of close finishes.............
