Default Bye bye SV :-( hello ZX6-r :-)

Hi all,

Getting rid of my SV650S 2000 and picking up my ZX6-r 636 2004 on Saturday, yey, but will my security be enough?

I have an Urban chain and lock (13mm I think) (anchored to 10 ft steel pole concreted in) xena disc lock alarm, U lock and a grip lock.

Nice bike. Proper headbanger. I like them a lot.

gratz on the new bike!

If they want it, they'll have it - but it does sound like you've done as much as humanly possible to make it not worth their while trying anyway

That's what I'm worried about, I was thinking of getting an Almax IV and a Snitcher.

Is there any crime in Milton Keynes?

Get a bike cover as well.

You might like to try having a cover on the bike aswell, something thats snug-fitting that is a little akward to get off in a hurry.

When you lock the bike down to the anchor, be clever - wheels can be taken off, but a swingarm can't, so use any cut-outs in the swingarm, ormaybe pass the chain through the downpipes or something like that

That's the way I see it as well. Sure I will be annoyed if it's nicked, but it ain't the end of the world.

+1
as long as the insurance company know how its secured and they can have no come back. Doesnt matter what security you have IMO if they want it badly enough it'll go.
You use it daily?
