Unhappy Had an off on the way to uni this morning

Set off to uni this morning at 6:45 and was turning right into a small back street near my house when the front end just slipped from under me. Road was still quite frosty, knew I should've taken the train

The damage: (Thank God for crash bungs, damage was minimal)

Could anyone tell me the best place to get a new brake pedal? And do you reckon I should get a new crash bung or just bend it back into place?

Thanks, Ryan

glad to hear you're not hurt.

ebay or svspares.com is your friend for the brake lever.

Fixer peg would fix that for the time being. Unlucky on your off, it is very slippery around at the moment. I think sadly the common thought on bent crash bungs is to get a new pair, otherwise you will get metal fatigue from bending it and it will be less strong.

Er, no. Phone up R&G and ask for a new bolt (and a new bung if you're fussy). They sell every single bit separately.

As for the peg I'd drill and fit a replacement end eg from http://fixer-peg.co.uk/shop/category...MENT-PEGS.html

Then look for a new lever, either second hand (ebay) or new (suzuki/MFW etc.

Thanks for the replies guys. I'm totally uninjured luckily. My ego's a bit bruised as I had my brother on the back as I was taking him to go take his theory test. He missed that because of me having my off unfortunately .

I will get a replacement bolt and bung and a fixer peg I think. Thanks a lot

That's good that they sell the bits seperately, but what I meant was you can't bend the metal rod back.
