Default building a 700 engine

Im thinking of having my k3 650 engine worked on as im sick of the issues ive got plus its 35k old now. i know people do these builds but mine will be for every day use is it a good idea also how much work would i need to do and an idea of total price?

Lots to do it properly plus its not ideal on high mileage crankcases. TBH your best of getting another used motor or selling the bike and getting another one.

It cost someone £1800[1] to do the motor I have...

I paid a tiny fraction of that.

Plus if it ever goes pop I can just throw back in the original engine (which was still rather healthy).

What issues you got?

Just for pistons it is couple hundred quid.
