I took the Sv for it's MOT yesterday. I took it to a garage I'd never used before. Just parked it up and realised I'd not put my baffle back in the stubby and left the slightly smaller plate on
![]() Passed! no advisories. The only thing he commented on were how good the brakes were! No drag etc? Nice ![]() |

i had a bike pass with leaking forkes, cracks in tyres, no headlight bulb fitted, no brake pads (well they were worn to the metal). just cant trust garages anymore

Mine passed today, and it was the shortest advisory list I have ever received on one of my vehicles (normally my advisories run to a second page) - just the one for front tyre worn close to limit.
One of my fork dust seals is perished, but I understand that unless fluid is leaking this won't fail. I did have my fingers crossed on the rear brake efficacy, given that the pads had only just gone on and hadn't bedded in (well, I tried to bed them in by using only the rear brake on the 3 mile ride to the test centre!) |
