Question Sound from bike when under load

Hiya all, i've started to notice a sound coming from the bike.

When i'm pushing the bike under load it makes a sound which is very hard to describe (sort of scrubbing, rotational rattle, noise) Sorry for the rubbish sound description! Is this normal under load from the bike - happens in all gears far as i can tell. Soon as i level off the throttle the sound reduces then stops. No major loud noises, can only just be heard.

Also started to notice a metallic rattle at 6,000RPM, only really noticeable in first (wind sound covering it up in other gears). Anything below 6k RPM and no sound then at 6K RPM there the metallic rattle then once past 6K RPM sound ceases. Do you it could be to do with vibrations at that engine speed causing a part of the bike to vibrate against something?

All I really want is peace of mind that this isn't something to worry about and is normal! (fingers crossed)

my curvy also does that around 5k unnoticeable unless your listening and to end at 9k (where the power just drops off peak).

When was your oil changed last?

Bike apparently had oil change at service so about a month or two ago, but don't particularly trust dealer so will probably change oil and filter in the next month or so.

Gd to hear i'm not the only one, and it's nothing serious!

the normal offenders are the cam chains for rattling noises and a oil change with half decent semi synth does quieten the noises down.

The other thing would be a cam chain tensioner, but if your thinking that get it checked by one the mechanics on here in your area.

I'm actually thinking of heading to london sometime in the summer and get spannerman to service / check the bike over. I've heard many recommendations for him!
