Default winter warmth

OK, so we dont ride on the road but want to make the best of any extra winter track time available. In your considered opinion whats the best warm equipment or clothing combination to keep:
1. Dry
2. Warm
3. Flexible
4. In control

Particularly interested in protecting fingers and hands while still being able to feel clutch/brake and throttle

Gloves, grip warmers, waterproofs/rubber suits ???

any best ideas invited

CCC Sweatwickers (winter ones, not summer ones, there are two types) that the rugby guys use under your leathers. Superb! You take these out of the washing machine adn they are soaking on one side and bone dry on the other! Very warm too!

also get another set of tyre warmers for the handlebars!

If you have perforated leathers, a light fleece windstopper top underneath them helps.

and a Fleece neckwarmer.

Nice one. Have found out you can get heated gloves! Now theres a good idea. Other suggestions include handguards to keep the wind chill down. Spose we could just stay indoors too!

Sound advice,
I had pipe smoking beamer riders taking the **** out of me the otherday because I rolled up with ccc baselayer, windstopper leathers and thin inner gloves. But I was warm all day and they had goretex textiles, handguards and heated gloves, grips, waistcoats etc. etc. and were no better off for it!

Heated gloves are a bit expensive, you could get heated grips for around £20 and do as berlin says clothing wise and still be warm. I've got an EDZ windstopper which is good and really light weight but a bit pricey for what it is (a breathable binliner!)

I don't know what they are called but a guy showed me some really thin inner gloves at Hawes last winter that were self heating!

As the fabric flexed they created their own heat. They were fantastic. Just rub your hands vigorously together before putting the gloves on and just using the brake, clutch and throttle kept heating them up.

I wish I knew what they were called.
