Default Nail in tyre grr

Just wanted to have a moan, was going to go for a ride out today and on checking tyres i noticed rear was quite soft and low and behold i found a nail grr.

Are bike tyres magnetic or somthing! sorry for the the rant i just seem to find lots of nails and tyres aint cheap.

replace with a screw, and tighten it every time it leaks

Could be worse - Could of had one in the front as well.

Well done for checking your tyres before you set off though, I often don't TBH.

Going to local place during week for a looksee but todays sunday staff said it cant be repaired because of its position or some bs like that.

Had a strange urge to check tyres this morning before ride over to alston then squires then back to durham, glad i checked now.

Its not BS. If it's near the edge there's a good chance the patch will peel off as the tyre flexes.
