(I think it i'll need one with more juice though)



On a side issue, as you've got a carby you could have run total loss as well and lost a shed more weight... pity its not allowed by the rules.

Push start?? Or do you need a working starter motor?

Thinking about it, if you're allowed to jump start your bike in the paddock it might have enough oomph to start a nice warm engine for scrutineering...

The new bike has got one on but its FUBAR'd and I need to know if its because its not up to the job, before buying a replacement.

YT4LBS equivilant by the looks of it. Has 40 CCA as opposed to 180 on the std SV battery. We used a YTX5LBS which had 80CCA and it started the bike ok but the battery needed to be in tip top condition. I wouldnt go anyless than the 80 CCA to start the bike.

I've gone for the VARTA YTX7L-BS Gel Which has 110 CCA and is the same size and one you are using Sarah.
