Errr I'd like to point out the paint schemes don't match
![]() Looks like a good conversion, are you going to paint the GSXR fairing to match? Then it would look perfect Nice work

Nice touch. Looks factory fit as well. Bit of paint & it'll look perfect

I agree with Bibio, fairing too high, doesn't flow with the rest of the bikes lines, reminds me of those aftermarket fairings you used to get to fit to naked bikes in the 70's, but then it covers up a large proportion of a curvy, so it's definitely an improvement

Hi All,
Yeah, 'tis a shame to lose the curvy lines (Easy Ralph!) but function took precedence over form on this occasion. Decent weather protection is bonus for us winter riders. Will probably paint yellow bits to match fairing rather than vice versa, that'll confuse people even more ![]() As for Hid conversion - well in the curvy it was worse than useless. Beam pattern was rubbish, poor spread, awful dim spot in the dead ahead area which is sort of where you want the light to be. In the Gixxer lights they are fabulous! No complaints at all. Rich |
