Unhappy Attempted theft off drive

I'm well annoyed , almost lost by new pride and joy today

Took bike out of the garage and was on my drive for 30 mins this morning , popped in for a shower and then went to go for a spin and steering lock had been screw drivered

Must have been disturbed as they left without taking bike

This is in broad daylight mid morning off my drive

Now really worried for a repeat visit

not good mate.

Disc lock, massive **** off chain and a shotgun.

Can you access the garage from the house?

Don't think it was someone who knew what they were doing or it would have been gone

When I was in the shower heard the scrap man van going round ..... could just be a coincidence ....

Bike locked with eveything I've got , my dog sleeps next to garage and I will be sleeping very lightly tonight

Hoping it was a passing optimistic attempt , but really sad that I can't leave my bike on my drive for 30 mins in day light anymore

Now need to price up a new lock and match key which knowing Triumph won't be cheap

My dog bless her is 12 years old and pretty feeble now

To be honest love the dog more than the bike

I pretty certain it was the "scrap men / pikey", trouble is they are up and down round us all the time , don't normally leave bike out of garage , won't again

Will warn the neighbours as there are a few motorbike owners nearby

keep em pealed
