Cheap Ebay Windscreens - Yay or Nay

Seen these pop up on ebay from Hong Kong.

anyone tried/ got one?
Im after a smoked windscreen for my SV - but to be honest. The smoked sample picture doesn't look very smoked at all compared to others I have seen on the web.

Tempted to order one tonight - or does anyone know anywhere else online I can order a cheap windscreen? (preferably double bubble and smoked/tinted)

I have a Puig Double Bouble screen that I removed to fit my touring screen. You can have that for £20 if you want. PM if interested.

For 12 quid what does it matter if it's naff? (which I doubt it will be) Some of this Chinese stuff is as good as everybody elses. Shame they dont do one for a Buell, I'd be buying one straight away
I bought some Taiwanese aluminium footpegs for Custard, 11 quid for a full set, they are spot on.
I bought a German bellypan & the fit was atrocious

Well it came in the post today - 8 days later which is not tooo bad considering it came from china. No import tax which is good

Was a bit of a pig to fit - I had no idea how much of a job it was to take the old one off and put the new one on. Took me the best part of 2 hours. But may just be my lack of mechanical know how. The only problem with it was that I had to enlarge the two rear holes as the diameter was too small. to sort this I just filed it away untill it was the correct size.

I ordered smoked and looks sweet in my opinion. For £12 + P&P im very happy.

tried it yet? any difference at speed?

Looking good mate. Next time you need to do it it will only take you 10 minutes! The first time I did it, it took an eternity. Needle nose pliers are your friend to take out and re fit those captive rubber grommet nut jobbies

BTW, I've got a cheap Chinese dark screen on my GSXR and can't fault it.
