Default i finally done it

was a lovely night so i decided to visit my brothers in edin. after the visit, got on the bike moved it out from where i keep it put foot down on a bad camber and over it went. i never even bothered trying to save it as i don't fancy a hernia or other injury after all its only a bike which can be fixed

so what the damage... ermm well nothing to speak of, broken front indicator (surprise surprise), a few little scratches on the faring lower and one on the upper and a scuffed mirror, that's it so i guess i'm a luck bugger

that's what i get for having short legs and being a dwarf

Knob.

You wouldn't catch me doing that. Oh no.

The important bit though. Did anyone see you?

Bugger! Those stands do seem to have an uncanny ability to disappear silently as soon as you avert your gaze. There is probably some sort of 'opposite of a watched kettle boiling' analogy to be made. At least the damage was minor.

4 months into owning a shiny new-ish bike and I've already danced the 'SV tango' a couple of times. With my old bike the stand was skanky enough with accumulated grot that it needed a good boot to get it to move at all - much more reassuring!

At least you didn't go the 'full dwarf' and get trapped under the bike!

ooohhh yes it was the centre of edinburgh (buccleuch street) and it was hot, sunny and loads of people going about their business. strange thing it was a lovely nice female who asked if i need help. but my bro just looked out the window pointed and laughed, yes he is a current

I think I still have this somewhere after I thought I could off-road a road bike, inconspicuous and drilled for lightness like an ol' Blade.

You are welcome.

You also always speak so highly of your bruv Lance.
