Problem with buying online is after sales service.Hopefully the product works fine ,but if it is faulty you have to go through a lot of inconvenience to get it sorted.
Friend bought a computer from ebuyer and had problems with it.Ebuyer are a reputable outfit and arranged for it to be returned by courier. It had to go back twice and each time someone had to be in all day waiting for collection and again for its return. This required time off work and a lot of hassle.Moral of story was they wished they had just bought it from a local retailer and been able to take it back there when it went wrong even if that had cost a few quid more to buy.

Do your research before buying an android tablet. I personally would recommend the Asus Transformer. But as the transformer 2 is due for release in December I would suggest you wait for that.

I bought something from https://www.weareelectricals.com/ nearly 14 days ago - still not here because I didnt want to pay £9 for delivery and opted for free delivery - quoted on the site as 10-12 days.

So if you don't mind waiting or paying silly money for delivery then it may be worth it, otherwise...

Why am I commenting on Focalprice when my experience is with WeAreElectricals?

Well both companies have details of a "Drop-shipping" which I figure these sites are examples of - ie small one-man out of a garage bands who just pass the orders on...

Could just be paranoia about a new market channel, but I wont be using them again.

UPDATE: Havinf realised it was now 13/14 working days since I ordered I contacted them - they have a phone number on the website, which WAS answered.

Turns out that there is a problem sourcing the item and they estimate a 2-week turn around.

So I ask why I have not been informed of this and they say "very sorry, I will flag that".

So I then ask to cancel, getting told no problem, can they have my details to process the refund.

I give them them, I paid by bank transfer and that is how they want to refund.

However I am then told it will take up to 30 days for the refund to be processed.

So, bear this in mind also when dealing with places like this.
