Default Anyone else get this?

You have a really productive morning, really pleased with yourself and decide to quit while you are ahead and the afternoon is just a loss then?

I seem to subconsciously do it today, been a long week and if you achieve the same that you would normally do in a day over the course of a morning I think the cosmic order needs rebalancing by a period of slack.

Anyone else?

of course, usually my days feel like this:

All the time. Though sometimes, i'll do sod all in the day and suddenly hit a brain wave and be able to work on through the night. Swings and roundabouts. I never know when i'm going to get most of my work done.

If you feel like slacking, take a walk, do something else useful. Washing, shopping etc. Works well for me.

I never look out of the window in the morning, because then I would have nothing left to do in the afternoon.

Yes mate. Got to be done. Though generally I power on through the day, then spend the whole next day doing nothing. Moving the scroll wheel on your mouse when you boss walks by is all you need to do.

Been grounded for 7 weeks now.

Yesterday I sat on the sofa with my laptop, today I'm here with my laptop BUT tomorrow..... I'll be sat here with my laptop.

And I'm grounded for another 4 weeks........ with my laptop. Productive, no not really.

If i'm sat sketching, painting or working on the computer for a while, but need to keep doing things, household tasks feel like a break even. Never has the washing up felt so invigorating. I do love what i do though.

Everyone needs a break though. Even films are great for breaks, it can always inspire you in other ways later...

Bring your ironing board and a basket of washing with you next time.

Your boss would love it. When he asks you what the **** you're doing, just tell him about your mate Binky.
