I'm having trouble selling my old Sv650 stock exhaust, plate holder and rear seat cowl.. i've put it onto this forum and ebay, its just not wanted/needed..
Any ideas of where else I can get some money for them? cheers |

If it was me I'd take the exhaust and snow shovel (plate holder) to the tip, nobody will pay for them and you'll struggle to give them away for free!
Seat cowl should go in the end, just depends if anybody wants one in your particular colour. Stick to the free listing weekends on eBay so you're not paying anything to list it. |

+1 in terms of just listing on the free listing weekends.
Other than that, you can google Parts Finder and email them to find out who their nearest supplier to you is. You could then contact that supplier and ask them if they will buy them from you. Don't expect much for them, they may even list them as stock on your behalf but you would still not make much off them. I think your best bet would be to stick to free listing weekends, advertise in the local free ads and wait for the buyers to come a long. Weather hasn't been good enough yet for lots of bikers to be thinking about new parts, so market may well pick up next couple of months. Good luck. |

I've just looked at your listing on the SV Sales page.
IMO All you have is the ebay link and the heading as Exhaust. I am in work and can't get a link to ebay so why not try and put some sort of description as well as the link. No idea about your other stuff as i can't find the threads. Try full descriptions of the item you have for sale. Is the price you are asking a realistic price? The price you have on ebay, will you sell cheaper to an orger on here? Are the items you are selling in a good enough condition for the asking price? Dont be too upset if your items are not selling as a lot of people will buy aftermarket parts and not many are after an original part (exhaust).

they are worth nothing. i have 2 kicking around that i haven't taken the the tip yet. only time people want them is for trading the bike in so they can sell their aftermarket one.

Yer hang on to them till its time to change your bike ,coz you can then advertise it saying 'original bits thrown in for free'.
