Default TT: Closer to the edge

Had this playing in the background today while working from home. It's had a fairly profound effect on me and I was wondering if it did the same for anyone else.

In equal measures I want to go out on my bike and give it the beans. AND I want to sell it and never ride a bike quickly again.

Appreciate it's not a new film anymore but wondering how others felt watching it.

You sound like you are easily lead.

Go have a cup of tea and then see how you feel

Had this when I left the cinema.
Some scary stuff there, but I'm enjoying biking all the same now.

It's an awesome film. Something really life-affirming about it and lots of non-biker friends I've lent it to have loved it too.

I'm off to the TT for the first time this year as a result of watching it. Leaving the SV in Heysham though and taking a pushbike over as the Steampacket charge about 230 quid around TT fortnight.

Anyone else going?

My stuffs already there. Went with the team after the last BSB round. Were flying across with just hand luggage.

Watched this for the first time last week, and i have to agree the film left me feeling a little numb. it gave an awesome insight into the motives of these riders, and the connor cummins crash and reaction to it i found astonishing.

Watched it for the first time last night actually, wicked film. Attitudes of some of the racers are pretty mental!

Yeah the Connor Cummins crash is pretty brutal to watch - especially as you can see his dislocated arm flopping about in the air.

Thought Paul Dobb's widow spoke really eloquently about how the death and risk is inseparable from the exhiliration and fulfilment. Also loved the whole ex-addict vibe Milky Quayle has going on when he's driving round the course in a car!

I had the same feeling when I watched it, riding overruled and I almost immediately booked my ferry for a euro-rideout.
