So, I've been back on Sydney since the accident, so this isnt to do with anything about the accident, but I'm seriously considering a different bike...
When I took sydney for his MOT I had a wee sit on the CBR600F and the RR and I really liked the feel of the F, although it feels tiny compared to the SV. I know the obvious thing to do is go and test ride it, but finding time/appropriate weather is difficult. Anyone have any thoughts on the newer CBR? Pros, cons, common faults etc? |

I love my CBR600RR, its a 10plate. Handles lovely and is light and powerful. I also find it far comfier than the SV.

PM Balky,He bought a new F a couple of months ago and he seems very happy with it so far.
Ultimately it is down to yourself and until you have had a decent ride on one you can't make a decision. Good long test ride in order me thinks then you can ascertain the difference between an IL4 and the V. May I make a suggestion in trying a Daytona 675 as a comparison between the two. |

There was a review of the cbr rr v f in fast bikes summer 2012 edition. The f was good everyday bike and ran surprisingly close to the RR ( not bad for a faired hornet is what they said ).

Dicky, I have no intention of test riding more bikes than I need to - the thought of a test ride strikes the fear of all the gods into me, I get so worried and panicked before them I need to keep them to a minimum. I'd not buy a Daytona so I don't want to test ride one.
The dealer has the F and the RR in, so it'll probably be between the two. |
