Default New Bike - Naked SV650

Well picked this up at lunchtime. Opted for the naked version because most of my riding with be around town to and from work.

Small matter of 136 mile ride home and am now sat infront of the fire trying to get warm again. 5 hours sat on a train in leathers meant they were a bit hot and sweaty so instantly cooled and chilled once I got moving.

However, first impressions of the SV650n are that it's a very easy bike to ride and yes the suspension is dire, still easy enough to solve. Bike came with new Conti motion tires so took it easy on the way home and managed 56 mpg which seems decent enough.

Someone on here said the yellow ones were the fastest so thought I should buy one then

Pete

Thanks folks, for a 99 bike it is in remarkable good condition and came fully serviced ready to go which was nice. Only slight problem is the fuel tank has started to rust. Currently a very fine layer on the inside and this is the second tank as it was replaced 4 years ago. I suspect the problem is condensation being drawn into the tank through living in a soggy little island on the North West corner of Europe.

However, the question is what to do about it? Do they rust from the outside or inside first?
