Does anyone know where I can get red tail light bulbs to use with a clear rear lense? Thanks.

Hey Pricey, your bike looks different n your avatar.......I'm guessing that's the new screen. Did you tint your headlights?

The problem with red painted bulbs is the heat they generate, the glass paint burns off and they go pink, then white.
LED's would be a better bet. |

Yeah, new screen fitted. I fitted some tinted headlight protectors off ebay. I think they were around £15. The good thing about them is they clip on and off so can be removed for night time or poor weather riding.

Looks like I'll be purchasing some red LED bulbs. Am I right in assuming the SV has two bulbs? Also, does anyone know what bulbs I''ll need. I've had a look on ebay but can only seem to find LED bulbs for Suzuki cars. Don't really want to buy the wrong ones at £15 a pop

Stop/tail bulbs use the code 380, search for 380 LED and there will be hundreds.
One slight issue i'm having with mine that's making me wonder is the tail lights are much brighter than with normal bulbs and the stop lights about the same, so less difference between the two. I got mine from ultraleds.co.uk. |

Thanks Stonesie. So I'm guessing these would be ok:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/380-LED-RE...item5897e3bbb6 With them being LED's did they require a resistor or anything, or was it a straight swap? |

For that price you can try them and see what you think, you do not need any extra resistors or anything like that, just plug and play.
Not sure how many bulbs a curvy needs, my SV was a pointy. |
