Will an Abus Granit detecto 8000 + chain fit an SV?

I've read in a few places about the Granit Detecto 8000 being too big to fit on some bikes (both due to being to wide to fit between the disc brake and wheel, or the holes on the disc being too small).

I havent seen any specific mention of the SV650, but don't really want to fork out £200+ for something that wont fit (especially as I cant find anywhere that'll let me try before i buy)

Has anyone got one of these / know whether i'll fit on my 08 pointy?

I dont know for sure but cant see any reaosn the chain wouldnt fit around wheel. The disc is another matter, the problem is all discs are different arent they. Why not measure the largest hole on the disc, then go to the shop and measure the disc lock pin?

Yes it does, has to go on at an angle but it gets on there...

Yep it'll fit, got one myself.

It can be tricky getting the lock on the disc with the chain on it but a little bit of giggling gets the job done.
