Default OMO Home CCTV & Security systems

OMO,

Some POS neighbour in our street has been keying my family cars (3 so far). I have a suspicion of who it is, but no evidence as such.
This happens when the cars are parked on our private drive ways or on the road. I want to cover the areas we park the car with CCTV & security lighting.
Does anyone have any recommendations for a decent CCTV system that is good during the day & at night.
TIA

Nothing. There have been a few words said, but no disputes, arguments or anything that would warrant being such a C bomb. She is a psychotic cow & an all out tramp (IMO)

The Swann kits from Maplin are OK, shop around and see if you can get one 2nd hand on ebay. Positioning the cameras well is key (n pun intended).

I've been looking at those. either heading down the DVR route (using a PC as the recording source) or independent cameras which take an SD card.

I'm thinking of doing the same.

Because my garage is at the end of the garden & its got power, I'm probably going to install either Wifi camera or one connected by Ethernet cables using Homeplugs to my home network. Some cameras will record footage to the Cloud & ping you the image via email or text to your phone.

This solution is a bit cheaper than the Swan system, but I don't know if its better? I suspect the Swan is probably better

Its an option, as is a dummy camera system, which is an even cheaper system!

Which, joking aside, might be a very good reason not to actually catch her at it. Obviously having your car damaged is not very nice and if there is nothing else you can do to stop it happening again then at least identifying the culprit might help move things along, but they are unlikely to lock her away for it and if she is really that disturbed then you may find it will simply get worse if she is actually confronted about it. I'm not saying don't do it, but just think through where this could go before spending lots of money on cameras which in the long run won't actually achieve much.

Are you the only one being targeted, over what time frame have the incidents so far occurred?
