Default SV650 European trip

Just finished reading a bike travel book which I borrowed from the library:

Bonjour! Is this Italy? by Kevin Turner

A lighthearted report of a 4000 mile solo trip on an SV650S Curvy

An easy read with quite a few pics. and worth a look now the nights are drawing in.

Cheers, I'll have a look for that. My **** would NOT stand up to a 4,000 mile road trip on my pointy

I do regret that I crashed my curvy 6 weeks before I was meant to be taking it around France. It was fully prepped for the trip too

I'll look out for that book and see if I missed out on much!

Pointed my pointy down some curvy roads to Avignon and back in May. Got to say, the bike was great. Less seat agony than I have had on other bikes. I like to be leaning forward a bit to take the pressure off the old derrière.
