Front brake master cylinder
The track bike I've bought has an unexpected front master cylinder. It's a 2002 curvy with the remote reservoir on the little rubber hose. No surprises so far, however it has what I'd describe as a radial master cylinder (ie the piston travel is a 90 degrees to the bar). Also the m/cyl is Nissin unlike the calipers which are Tokico. Is this right?
Next question is there anything to choose between radial or axial layouts, and does the later pointy m/cyl fit the early bikes? |
