... that the Welsh Govt would ease the lockdown. Purely selfish, I know, but I am gagging get to Bala / Barmouth / Criccieth etc.

I had to go east to Skegness last Sunday, and while it was nice, it wasn't the same as riding through Wales.

I live along the A483, and judging by the amount of bikes howling through at the weekend I don't think the lockdown is being policed much. They have even been along and put the large yellow 'ride safe' signs on the poles

My daughter has moved to Pembrokeshire and needs a DBS for her new employer so I feel due to the urgency it may need to be hand delivered

I know what you all mean and on the one hand I’d love to be able to get out and ride just for the sake of riding. On the other hand, I think the easing of lockdown in England is going to result in a rapid rise in infections and deaths fairly quickly, and I’d really rather we avoided that in Wales. If that means we stay locked down for longer I personally think that’s a price worth paying.

We’ll definitely have to get something organised though once things do ease a bit.

Looks like it's w/c 6th July, then. Last one to Davy Jones Locker in Barmouth buys the bacon butties (if it's open)

Work have told me I have to use up another weeks holiday before the end of July so have spread summer vacation last week of July and first week of August so think I will let things calm down a bit and head over the border on a weekday.

Hopefully places to grab a bacon butty will be open by then
