does anybody know of a rough price of getting new cam chain in a 99 curvy i know different garages charge different rates for labour but im only after rough costs

well im thinking of treating my bike to a new one as it has now done 41000 miles and is really making horrid noises exspecially on decceleration i know it can be adjusted but i am thinking to just get a new one in there for peace of mind

it will still make a noise - maybe not as bad.
imho it's not worth it to replace |

Just go for the new tensioners then about £25-£30 each oh and skinned knuckles

I'd think that if the cam chain's knackered then new guides might be a good idea too... But I agree with Billy that changing or even just resetting the tensioners could help. It might not even need that. Most of the time, cam chain noise is just fine, but it's not always...
