optimate 111 sp.
i have just got myself a optimate 111 sp.
but there is no instructions, so if anyone has one ,what colour led should be light when i connect it? i am thinking that if my new rectifier & battery are working the battery will not need ANY charging at all is this right if so when i connect it wot colour should it show |

I forget the colour - orange maybe - but when you switch on it will show that the battery is charging. This is perfectly OK and nothing to fret about. Mine does it all the time. Optimates are very sensitive and will detect the most miniscule imperfection. Even if you've just been out for a blat the battery will still take a charge. It will go off after a while.
