But the national insurance limit has moved up to the upper tax limit. And the starting rate income tax band has been removed. I think overall almost everybody is slightly worse off.

Most car duties up, but i cant find anything about bike duty

It says;

In 2007-08 only, freezing the rates for motorbikes in the lower band with higher bands increasing by £1-£2

Are SV's in the higher band?

Well Rigor, being the bright light you are, you should know that old style tax bands are not down to economy, but cubic kerrrr-pacity. We can't help it if Suzuki were feeling generous...
