Coolant was looking a bit mucky on my lads SV probably the original fill. Anyway drained it at the pump, got the rad off and flushed it but I cannot get the expansion tank drained! I've taken the hose off from the top of the rad to the bottom of the expansion tank and nothing will come out! Any ideas

Stick a piece of clear tubing into the tank and suck on the other end. Stop sucking before it reaches your mouth. It'll siphon out in a few seconds.
