I can't make it this year due to various reasons but it looks like its gonna be a good one.

A mate managed to wangle free tickets for me and the family but we're going on holiday so won't be around

Bit of a s***er really considering the adult tickets are something silly like £32. Maybe next year.

I shall be there.. yet to find out which day.. but I am going.. with ear plugs this year...
Looking forward to next years though.. romours of a Raptor making an appearance....

Just got back from going today.. it was bloody... superb!

The Thunderbirds were brilliant, and I have a feeling they broke a few airshow rules on that, as where I was sitting had one come from behind us on full burner and turning... and scared the living crap out of us.... still think the Red arrows are better, but its a difference of attitudes i suppose.. Europeans tend to go for intricate hard formation manouvers.. the US just go for balls out speed and scare the crap out of the crowd!
Plus the F-15E comentary sounded more like an advert... sadly, i dont think many people in the crowd had the required $65M to buy one....

And the ending was good as well, mock mission by the RAF, ending with two GR4's going full pelt accross the runway with explosions.... doing a dummy bomb run.. except there are pyrotechnics involved!

p.s. comentator of the day award goes to the Italian bloke.. havent laughed that much in a while.. not because of what he was saying exactly, but how he was saying it.... as in Captain Bortolami from Allo Allo style...

I thought I was going until 10 mins ago - mate rang to say he ain't going - says the weather will be carp. I really wanted to see the Thunderbirds too

Which also means I got a fridge full of chicken legs, mini burgers, black pudding and sausage rolls for supper now
