I've found some bits on ebay.com for the SV, I emailed the guy to see if he could ship from the states. In his reply he said that he couldnt find a decent postal system, but it would also cost a lot of money to get the parts over here.
Has anybody had any experience in shipping from the States, if so do you know of any shipping companies that are reliable, and what sort of price I should be paying. The parts are very light and would fit into a medium sized Jiffy bag.

I bought a zippo lighter from a dealer in California. He sent it through UPS and it was here within 5 days. Was pretty cheap postage too IIRC.

I've ordered crash bungs and they came within a week after ordering. I think postage was only about $25-$30 for them...
I've also ordered t-shirts a few times, they come in jiffy bags, seem to usually take about 2 weeks to get them- pay $15 for postage on them. Now's the time to buy from America as its just over $2's for every £1 |

My experience:
UPS quick, but more expensive. Standard mail, cheap, but generally slow and massively variable (I've had between 10 days and 7 weeks!). |
