Default rear light

howdy folks, just wondered if i were to buy a 2000 sv650 is there any way i can crack one of those well tasty rear LED light sets from the later sv's onto it ??!? Theres one going on ebay for 4 quid, is it possible to stick it on the back ?

Anything's possible if you're prepared to fabricatea new bit of bodywork for the rear of the bike, as the rear end of the subframe is quite different it won't be straightforward, and as the newer light is a good bit deeper than the old one it will most likely be neceessary to reposition the other parts of the back end too.
