Default Italy & Greece

Well I have planned and bought some of the tickets for this trip now

Leaving M'cr on the 30th of June for Dover. Crossing to Calais and taking the motorail to Livorno, Italy.

Spend a week riding around in Tuscany.

Then ride to Ancona, take the ferry to Igoumenitsa, Greece and another shorter route ferry to Corfu.

Spend a week in Corfu with the family and then return on the 18th to Manchester.

If anyone is interested to join me I can offer free accommodation for the week in Corfu

I don't do reckless riding, crasy speeds etc. Going to enjoy the riding and the scenery.

Can provide you with dates & costs in greater detail if interested.

Cross over to Folkestone and from there ride to Den-Bosch. Take the motorail to Livorno.

Ride around Tuscany for a few days then ride to Ancona and on the boat to Greece.

Dartford to Athens overland in a truck only takes five days so unless you have a very special reason for Tuscany or particularly want to ride in the opposite direction from Greece, via Den-Bosch it is a very expensive way of doing it. Do it all overland and see a bit of Europe.
Calais-France-Lux-Germany-Austria-former Yugo-into Greece then down the coast to Athens for the ferry.

As a side note be careful on the ANCONA-PATRA Ferry as I have seen dozens of bikes fall over and be damaged in the slightest bad weather in the Adriatic due to the fact that most ferries have the stabilisers removed to save on fuel
