Default K5 fairing fit K3?

Hi All,

Can you tell me if the front fairing off a K5 will fit a K3? and what is the colour code for the blue for a K5? Its just i found this on ebay.

My Bike is a K3 SV650S colour code YC2

will go straight on, do a search on here an you will get the colour code but imsure someone else will answer fairly quickly

cheers guys, my front current front fairing isn't too bad, just a couple of cracks in it from my last spill would be great if i could get a cheap one in good nic.

Just had a quick search and the colour code for the 2005 model in blue is YC2 which is exactly the same as the colour of my machine.

Yup, all sv650 fairings fit fine - only difference is that from '06 onwards they changed the radiator width, which changed the fitting brackets - but if you're using the same brackets then it'll be fine.

Just be careful not to pick up a sv1000 fairing, as while they look near identical, they are wider.

Rubbish.

The K3 is very different from later pointies in MANY ways.

However I do believe that as far as the fairings are involved, this is not an issue.

Best bet is to check the part numbers via an online microfiche site.
