Michelin Pilot Power 2CT review
I had a new pair put on last week which replaced the original tyres that had come with the bike (only covered 6.4k miles so still had tread left on them).
Well. i've only covered 130 dry miles on these new tyres and I have been breaking them in but the bike feels completely different. The bike feels far more compliant on the road and it falls into corners much more smoothly. Appears to be more feedback through the front of the bike. Also, under breaking, the grip feels 100% better than the old tyres - actually feels like i've got new pads in there it's that noticible. Obviously very early days but very pleased so far. |

Re: Michelin Pilot Power 2CT review
Agreed, i had these on my sv too, best tire i had run by far and loved them so much got them on my new bike as well! They don't last as long as some tires but very grippy, even in the wet.

Re: Michelin Pilot Power 2CT review
I'm not a fan, didn't last on my zx6r or on my Tuono, they felt better on the Tuono but not great, but each to their own

Re: Michelin Pilot Power 2CT review
One thing many people fail to take into consideration is the wall flex against the weight of the bike.Certain sportier tyres are not really suited for a heavier touring bike and vice versa touring tyres may not flex enough on a sports bike. The amount of flex determins the amount of tread on the road.

Re: Michelin Pilot Power 2CT review
Not disputing that but I had to have the Pilot Road 2ct because of the weight of my bike.
Just pointing out that not all tyres are suited for all machines-------------if we are ONLY talking SV an excelent choice. |
