Hi everyone,
I have acquired a K3 SV, which I intend to use as a trackbike. My question is, are there any modifications that trackday companys do not allow? I wont ever be using the bike on the road and got a trailer sorted. I just don't want to turn up for a trackday to be told my bike is not acceptable? Thanks in advance for your replies! ![]() |

On a trackday it doesnt really matter. Some places only allow up to 105db maximum (98db at the weekend) & obviously as long as bits arent missing or falling off then you should be ok. You do have to think about your safety & others, so it needs to be right

main thing is noise. if it's loud then you will be chucked off. to give you an example i have a K6 with full M4 system and it registers at approx 99db. for racing though we are allowed upto 104 I think. you can always rev the bike alot lower than the noise tester wants (500 PRM at least) , they rarely kick up a fuss.
